Born in Fukuoka Prefecture, 1931. Graduated from Chuo University, B.A. in La w, 1954. M.A. in Art History, Waseda University, 1959. Organized "VIVO" phot ographers agency with E.Hosoe, S.Tomatsu, K.Kawada, and others, 1959.
