On a single day off in a week, Hideyuki Saito went out for photographing and made prints in the darkroom. The life like this goes on for 5 years. "I found myself standing at the particular sites for me without stopping at beautiful scenery," says Saito. "I don't know why I am fascinated by the sight at the particular place, but my eyes are naturally drawn into it and I just press the shutter button."
Saito looked for ways to express his own feelings in words for a long time, and one day he became involved in photography. In an alternating succession of getting himself down to the particular places to photograph and making prints, something in his mind had changed and he by little and little began to put his feelings into photographs.
He captures harmonious sights at the right place at the right time for him.
Around 40 gelatin silver prints are shown. This is Saito's first exhibition.
