2008.8.20-30: 10 Days Exhibition vol.20 Hayato Wakabayashi "Luncheon on the grass" Print

P.G.I. 10 Days Exhibition -- vol. 20

Hayato Wakabayashi "Luncheon the grass"

August 20 (Wed.) – 30 (Sat.), 2008

Image

Hayato Wakabayashi tells a story about himself today wandering through memories. He photographs greenhouses. When he was a little child, he went to a greenhouse with his parents and grandparents in comfortable May. He can’t remember clearly the circumstance of the time, but keeps comfortable feeling in remembrance. “Some things are dotting in my memories, and some things are recalled as a symbol of memories”, says Wakabayashi. He photographs not a particular greenhouse related to him but various greenhouses, feeling that “past” is around “present” also connects to “future.”

Around 30 color prints are shown.
