About Exhibition:
Although Yukio Kitayama's work was exhibited
at many group exhibitions in Japan, the exhibition entitled "Realize"
is the first one-person exhibition for Kitayama. Contains more than 30
gelatin-silver prints printed in 11x14 inch and 20x24 inch. Each photograph
is not only sensitive but also high quality print printed by Kitayama.
Six years ago, he moved to Okayama Prefecture from his hometown Yokohama.
Since then, he went to the "river" quite often and started photograph
flow of water. The river made him relaxed, and naturally he felt the river
became quite particular to him. He at first looked for interesting form
made by water, and gradually became aware that each flow of water existed
certainly and brilliantly. No flow was the same as the next flow even
if they looked same at a glance. It seemed a metaphor of the way of living.
