Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1977, Daisuke Morishita graduated from Tokyo College of Photography in 2003. Since his debut solo exhibition Gravity Works in 2005, he has been consistently pursuing the purity of photography. Morishita founded the photo-book label “asterisk books” in 2014 with the same philosophy and continues to publish his and other photographers’ work.
