Some 30 black and white photographs makes a comprehensive show of M. Sugiyama’s still-life works in last 25 years.
His attachment to still lives, that started with the fascination of glass bottles backlit when he was an art school student, has persisted and it reflects expressively on the images derived from glass, metal and other objects.
A portfolio of 25 selected still-life images under the title of “Still Life: Twenty-Five Years” and a few additional photographs new and old will be shown.
